How ToeFX Photodisinfection Works for Fungal Nail Treatment:

Application of Photosensitizing Agent:
ClearToe serum, a non-toxic blue compound, is applied to the nails. This agent is light-sensitive and harmless on its own but becomes activated under specific wavelengths of light.
Sensitization Period:
Following application, a fifteen-minute sensitization period allows the agent to penetrate the infected nail and be absorbed by the fungal cells within.
Light Activation:
Once the photosensitizing agent has adequately accumulated in the fungal cells, a specific wavelength of light is directed onto the treated area. This light triggers the ClearToe serum, leading it to produce Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS).
ROS Destruction:
The ROS produced by the activated serum are highly reactive and disrupt fungal structures such as the cell membrane, proteins, and DNA, effectively eliminating the fungal infection. This reaction ceases immediately upon deactivating the light.
Fungal Infection Clearance:
